Scores of families came out to enjoy a sun-baked day of family fishing and fun at the Keansburg Beach on Saturday June 27th. after what seemed like weeks of daily thunder storms. All who kicked off the summer with family fun enjoyed the 8th Father Time Fishing Derby. Adding to this year’s derby was a special chance to paint/customize and decorate wooden canoes built by the Navesink Maritime Heritage Assoc.- a long time friend of Father Time. Special thanks to all volunteers, and to Ron and Mike of Hi-Mar Striper Club for pitching in at the stinky bait station.
