Checking the weekend weather today.

Can anyone tell me what in the hell this means????  "RAIN LIKELY IN THE MORNING...THEN TAPERING OFF TO SHOWERS."    Would that mean the rain is not wet but the showers are?  Or maybe, bring soap?
