I want to thank Brian and Billy for hanging around after the business part of the meeting to share their knowledge in the fine art of knot tying.  Those of us who stayed had a great time, learned not just the "hows" but also the "whys".  Thanks too for the fishing reports, we started to go down to that hotspot but the seas had something else in mind (we are still waiting for the new bridge enclosure)  so we went fluking instead.  Over 30 fluke with 5 keepers.  Had a great day, got a little wet instead of a lot of wet, and except for throwing my back out, can't wait to try again next week.
Today I took the little boat out with a good friend and his kids for a morning tubing excursion.  After they took off, I slipped back out to bouy 30A and scored a bunch of shorts.  One followed my jig to the boat and actually came out of the water for it.  Gotta love that lite tackle.
Good luck out there, hope to see you in the reports.

And thank you sir for setting this up.  It is always great to see other members take an interest in the club and actually follow thru on their suggestions.

FIshed on the KIngfisher, with Bob & Pat K, and Jeff S.  We drifted the rocks most of the day.  Bob & I bucktailed, I only lost 2 bucktails, my average is getting better!  We finished the day with 9 keeper fluke, up to 3#'s and 5 nice Seabass.  Jeff had a seabass that weighed 3.5 lbs.Very nice fish.

I heard Da Prez, fished Ambrose and ended the day with 8 nice big keepers.  Good to see reports like that finally!
