EVERY VOTING SPORTSPERSON SHOULD LOOK AT THIS LIST.

Congratulations & Good Luck( I think, from a fellow boat owner)
Atlantic Highlands is a better ramp, although a lot busier.  Don't forget the wheel chocks.

I read it, and unfortunately it's true.  This is part of the "change" that people voted for.

If only the weather would cooperate, it would keep you guys focused on fishing, instead of a direction of non-fulfillment.

We lucked out with the weather and the fishing for our 2nd 12lb test Bluefish Trip.  The Hi-Mar members that participated, accomodated the hordes of hungry Bluefish ready to unknowingly commit suicide.  Since we had many "veterans" from last year's trip, there was less of a learning curve to figure out how light that reel drag had to be.  Actually, the sound of lines popping  was rare, and I even have enough hooks left over for next year.
After an hour and a half, we ended the 12 LB test contest(the mates were thankful) and Ron McClelland was the pool winner with the biggest Bluefish.    Tm Behany was the pool winner of the "convential"(non-12 Lb test) contest with a "whistle fish".
I would like to thank everyone who came, and Jim Curcio for running the pool, Harold Smith, and even though they didn't go Barry Heffernan and Mike Mclean for getting yhe fish to the foodbank.
Also thanks to Captain Ed, the MIJO mates and Capt. Mike Scardigno.

I had a computer that I fixed the same way.

I used Tom Duane and would recommend him if it turns out that you need service.

Next Sunday, September 20th is our 12 lb test Bluefish trip on the MIJO, out of Atlantic Highlands.  Plan to be at the dock by 3 PM.  Everyone will get 30 yards of 12 lb test mono to splice onto their line with a double uni knot( no Bimini twists, double lines, etc.), and Bluefish hooks.  NO BRAIDED LINE (captain's rules).
If you have any questions, contact me via email or phone.

Thank you, Brian Rice, for the impromtu presentation on Tuna Fishing.  I was glad to testify, along with Bill Dowd, and Bruce Mickelson, that those "light" rods do catch Tuna.

I don't know how much your looking to spend, but after last summer's gas price fiasco, there are a lot of used boats, many only 2-3 years old, for sale,  if you are looking to go the used route.  I would check the some of the Fishing Publications, like the Fisherman and the Asbury Park Press on fridays, for starters.  Many of the boat dealers have websites that list their new & used inventory.  Once you find a good quality boat, new or used, the most important part is service to the engine, since that will require more attention (usually) than the boat.
There are several good (&bad) sevice dealers.  The biggest problem is the wait for service from the good ones.
If you email me (go to the Member's Area on the website) we can continue this discussion.
I can say that if you intend to trailer this boat any distance, look for a good trailer, like a Loadrite.

Finally, a good Fluke trip after what has been for me, and most, a terrible season.  I fished Ambrose this past Saturday with a crew consisting of Calvin Appplegate and frequent fishing partner, Angelo.
We had 8 keepers 25" - 21" with about 30+ Fluke total, including many 17 -17-1/2".   as usual, many of the bigger fish came from the area close to the NJ/NY line.  But wanting to play it safe, due to the varying "opinions" on the various charts as to where the line actually is, we trended to the most conservative school of thought regarding the boundary.

Ron, I am not concerned about posting it, heck I could post it myself; I just hope that you are aboard to net it.

Gregg, you are lucky to have such a good publisist, in addition to his netting skills.
