Just because Ron is away, that doesn't mean the Message Board is shut down.

Fished the JCAA Fluke Tournament this past Saturday.  Fished in the same general area(based upon all of the intel gathered about where the best bite was) as the Hi-Mar Tournament, the previous week, off of Long Branch and Monmouth Beach.  Same basic results, no keepers.  However, loads of Seabass, most less than 12.5".   Had to move north to Sea Bright to get away from them.  Around 11 AM when the wind went from light NE (it was supposed to be West in the morning) to hard East, the Fluke began bitting their heads off.  Unfortunately, they were all 17".  With the seas increasing , headed north, tried by the tip of the Hook, TC Buoy, East Reach, and finally by Keansburg.  When 8 oz, wouldn't hold bottom, it was time to head in.

Some big fish were caught, check the results at JCAA.org.
