Wow, can't beleive all the activity on this board while I was gone.  Avg. works out to .5 posts per day!

Anyway,  this weather up here sucks!  Hard to believe yesterday I was complaining about the heat.  Only got to fish one day, 8hr trip on a party boat, Price wasn't bad, $59.00  Bottom fishing in 80 to 100' is not all that much fun when the boat rods are similar to pool cues and the reels are Penn 65's? I think they have a 5 to 1 ratio  (That's five cranks of the handle to 1 turn of the spool.)  These gems are spooled with 60# test & 12oz of lead.Caught mostly Seabass.  Min. size limit down there is 12" so, of course most fish were 11.5"   I did catch a few keepers that I threw into the baskets of the people fishing along side me.
Mates don't clean fish on the boat.  Fish cleaning available when you get off the boat,  for $.65 a pound. Not exactly monger fishing, but sure beats the hell out of spending the day at the outlets!

Anybody going out this weekend?

Welcome home, Ron.  I haven't been in a very good mood these passed couple of days, mostly weather related, so there really was no sense in my 'spreading vinegar'.  I'm glad you got to fish down there.  I love it there, my second favorite thing to do there is the putt putt golf.  we try to get there once a year, my brother is down there.  my parents have a condo and a boat slip there also.  My other brother is in town this week so hopefully I can get him and his sons some fluke.  you know I will report whatever happens.

I'm not sayin the mail didn't go through, it just got wet...with vinegar...all that printed material...mush!!!!!   You would think by now the printing industry would have a waterproof ink for the mailman to deliver it in all kinds of weather.  October would be better for me, especially if I'm still waiting for pistons....

"You would think by now the printing industry would have a waterproof ink for the mailman to deliver it in all kinds of weather"

Now we have something for Mike to work on while he is unemployed?

Still waiting for pistons?  Now that could put anyone in a bad mood.

Casey, we have 4 bedrooms in the house down there, plenty of room.  Thinking I would rather drive down so I can bring my own tackle.  Wife would probably rather fly, so I may leave before her and stay longer?  Have to see how it plays out.  We can talk about it at the meeting.

Mike see you at the boat tomorrow.    Wonder if we could get anyone to donate about 20 rain ponchos?
