HI-MAR Striper Club’s Special June 7th. Weekend Fishing Trip!
 
On Sunday, June 7th the HI-MAR Striped Bass Club hosted a charity fishing trip for the BIG BROTHERS /BIG SISTERS of Mon.Co.
The BB/BS Group is headed up by Marybeth Bull out of the Eatontown office.Along time HI MAR Charity trip group/its always a pleasure to have them onboard.
The day could not have started out better. Calm winds and sunshine.I mention this because this group has had its share of windy and rainy days.Finally an absolutely beautiful weather day.
We started out with a steady pick of short fluke /sea robins and skates.
When all said and done 3 keepers in the box.
Mike Gilliand was our pool winner with a 23"fluke .
His smile said it all when the fluke was held in front of him for a picture.
The trip was run aboard the "BINGO" charter boat out of Atlantic highlands.
Capt.Jack and mate Paul could not have done a better Job.
Accomidating the kids was number one priority and they accomplished this in a grand fashion.
Atlantic Highlands Bait and Tackle supplied us with some nice donations to make the trip an even bigger sucess.

Great Job, Mike !  I bet you got a lot of leads for that door to door sales job you have on the side...Glad to see you all had such a good day.  Thanks to all who helped make that trip the success that it was.
