We have been very busy I will try to recap some of our fishing trips. Last week we fished Bunker, it was awesome fishing with many trophy sized fish. Wednesday was a prime example. We started the day with Bunker. We had 18 fish 16 over 34 inches and 4 over 30 pounds. We finished the day clam fishing for our slots. Thursday was the same after I warned the guys about the quality of fish and the size tackle they needed, Ken thought His calcutta 200 could cut it! well 170yards of 17# later the fish was still swimming. We had to back down on some fish just to get them in the boat. It was some awesome bass catching, lets hope it continues. We fished in the Southern part of the Glory hole for sharks on Saturday. Our first Blue shark came on spinning tackle. We had action all day. We tagged one nice Blue shark and had others in our slick. I set up on one nice fish it dumped 200 yards of line but the hook pulled and we never got to see the fish. The glory hole was alive with Bluefish, Bird life, Sea Turtles and dolphin(Mammal). It was a fun day with Richie being dragged around the boat, Dave catching them on spinning tackle and Billy afraid of the sharks:-D Sunday we fished clams it was steady catching of slot Bass, we also had a large number of tweeners. Dog fish were thick, skates also, but you just had to pick through them to get the bass. we were using a bussel of clams every two hours.We fished the typical spots, Romer shoal, Flynns Knoll and the Shewsbury Rocks.
