I wanted to rent a paddock at the festival but I'm told that they will cost $200/day!!!  Can anyone explain to me why they are so outrageously expensive???

I do not know the price of paddocks. THat info would have to come from HITS. Is that where you got your information? Would you like for me to check?

I'm sure you have more important things to do than check the price of the paddocks :-))  but I actually had emailed  Kathleen Kiesel and she did in fact confirm with the "powers that be" and unless she misunderstood,  it is indeed $200/day.   I think it's great that they have the paddocks at Saugerties, but that just seems really steep.....I'm just kind of hoping that whomever she spoke to was confused and it's actually for the duration, but she seemed pretty sure.

Hi, this is Sandy Janiga, a volunteer at Lendon's Youth Dressage Festival and here is the scoop on the paddocks.  They are $200.00 for the full weekend not per day.  You send the check to Kathy, the show secretary, and when you check in you will be assigned a paddock.  You must bring a lock because you are responsible for locking the paddock up when it is not in use.  (Hits rules and regulations).  My daughter's pony is so much happier when he has a paddock so we always get one when we are at HITS.  Hope that helps.

Thank you so much!  Our horses are all out 24/7 with access to their stalls, so I really wanted to make sure they got to go out while they are at the show.  One is an older fellow and standing all day in a stall sure doesn't sit well with him at all.

how many paddocks are there. and i am also worried about disease and having my horse graising where other horses were. and can u share a paddock between two horses????
