Hi,
My 6.247 let go of its water last week. It got a little hot. The cylinder head is off. Number 4 piston has picked up.

Does anyone have or know of :-

A standard piston with rings, or just a set of rings at a pinch.

Perkins do not have any.

My local man ( Charlie) has even tried his Mazda connections.

I can get a gasket set, or infact another complete engine, but I would like to keep this simple.

I know what you are all thinking , put a Phaser in it and be done, that may happen.

Any help will be hugely aprecciated.
