Hello,
I am a new member to this site. I have a 1991  RB44,I want to power a 8 ton hydraulic Boughton front bumper winch and a 1.2 ton rear mounted hiab. I want to power the above from a Power Take Off (PTO). I can see the transfer box has a 6 bolted plate for a PTO, however that is as far as I can go!
I have search everywhere I can think of and can not get the answer, does anyone know any details for getting hold of a pto for this? If it helps the transfer box number is PL14015 and below WP2858.
Best regards

out of curiosity, I contacted these people

http://www.pcmfluidpower.co.uk/aboutus.php

spoke to a helpful chap there who contacted Chelsea and confirmed the correct model no. is actually 420XQAHX-A6XR (the stamp used on the plate did not produce a clear 'X')

availability is 4wks, due to them having a special shaft apparently - waiting to hear back on a price ...

got a phone call back from PCM this afternoon - the guy I spoke to (Dave) is very helpful

price new from Chelsea is £1420 (+VAT +delivery) for a compatable unit (was told the exact unit I have is now obsolete but what is available to the spec. would fit)

it may be that more than one type of unit was fitted during production run since Boughtons have been putting RB44's together since at least mid-70's in A-series form before switching production to the Dodge (Mk1 and Mk2)
I suspect the unit I have is a fairly late (Mk2) Dodge model

if you contact Boughtons for more info, I was told Peter Wood is the technical advisor best equipped to handle '50-related enquiries - 01902 623430, (dunno if anyone else can adivse on this?)

apparently the unit described above is not readily serviceable, which suggests finding a used unit in GWO may be advisable
