Vince is back - HOORAY!It has been a long time since I took Vince off the road - Over a year since he failed his MOT on smoke emissions.Thanks to Greg, work finally began earlier this year when we removed the engine. I sent it to Industrial Power Units in the Midlands for a rebuild.Greg and I put the engine back in a few months back, and I replaced the cab floor and front wheel arches.Getting through this recent MOT has been tough with several trips back to the garage for seemingly stupid things - He only failed on a front spring-bush, but the U-bolts and nuts proved difficult to source. Finally, when I had all the bits, the thread on the U bolts didn't go far enough up the U bolt shaft, and last night we had to fabricate a spacer plate for the bottom of the U bolt so that there was enough thread for the nuts to bite.Anyway, now he is fully taxed, and MOTd, and insured (CIS), so officially back on the road.Hooray for Vince, and thanks to Greg, Otto, and Ian for all their help and encouragement along the way.Toby
