RENAULT DODGE 50 MOTORHOME CONVERSION

We are selling our beloved motorhome, which we converted from an empty shell, due to redundancy.

Over a period of 6 months we painstakingly built a comfortable living home from home with no expense spared.  We built her to our own design but also included provision for further upgrades in the future.

She has:
Complete 110 mm insulation in ceiling, walls and under floor, with 19mm board to walls and floor.
Separate bedroom with wardrobe, 12 volt lighting, 12 volt tv connected to Sky.  There is a large storage area under the bed housing carver water heater, fuse box and zig unit whilst leaving a huge storage space.
Thetford cassette toilet in a separate toilet area.
Kitchen area has built in low and high level cupboards and is tiled.  Fridge with freezer compartment (12/240 volt) 240 volt and 12 volt electric points. 12 volt lighting.
Seating comprises of a fully sprung recliner sofa with a one lap seat belt and one inertia seat belt.  Storage area under sofa.
Further sideboard style storage cupboard with internal 240 volt socket.  Wall mounted tv connected to Sky. 12 volt lighting.
All walls are fully carpeted throughout in proper floor grade carpet (not thin cheap cord) with tiles to kitchen area and washable tile on a roll wallpaper in the toilet.
The doors to both bedroom and toilet are proper doors not caravan type doors.
All pelmets etc are oak. Roller blinds fitted to windows, roller blind and curtains to bedroom and curtains dividing the cab from the living area. Lambs tail door curtain on front bi fold door.
Floors. Bedroom carpeted, toilet oak flooring, kitchen oak effect vinyl cushion flooring and carpet to main living area.
Cab carpeted and vinyl floor to doorway.
Kenwood CD/Radio.
Solar panel on the roof with wiring, but would need a 10 amp battery charger which would run 12 volt system.  These are available on Ebay for around £15
Although we didn't opt for a built in cooker or sink/basin all water pipes are in situ and connected up to the carver water heater and insulated internally.  Water pipes also in situ for toilet area.
Fiamma Countrystore awning fitted to outside of van. with a fiamma side curtain.
The van has 3 large external lockers providing lots of storage and comes with 7.5 Calor gas bottle, 110 amp leisure battery and electric hook up cable.
Two large skylights fitted in living area and bedroom.

Also included are:
Microwave
Grill oven
Table top Zanussi freezer
Electric hotplate
Kettle
Oil heater
Camping gaz hob
Satellite dish, tripod and over 10m of cable
Plus more than I can think of at the moment.

Mechanically:
Perkins low revving 3.9 turbo diesel engine ( 25+ miles per gallon)
Automatic gear box
Serviced in the summer and over £500 worth of welding
Drives well, have driven around Wales and South Coast with no problems at all.
Steering ok (no over steering)

Bad points:
No MOT however needs a shock absorber and an offside front track rod end.  However I have 2 shock absorbers which are included.
No Tax
Usual wear and tear for a 20 year old vehicle.

This bus was originally a school bus maintained to a high standard. But unfortunately no service history came with it.

All in all once MOT'd and Taxed this bus will be a fantastic, comfortable and spacious home for either holidays or permanent living.

We have loads more photos if you are interested send me a message.
