I thought I would throw it out on the forum (as well as on freecycle and such places) that I am currently looking for size 5T spring/summer clothes for Nora, in case anyone has any their kid has outgrown (and doesn't have a younger daughter/relative you're already passing them on to!)

All right, I hate that if you put a paragraph break in, THE FORUM ERASES THAT PART OF YOUR POST! Anyway. That previous post was from me (Joanna). In which I said that I realize my kid isn't even 3 yet, but, yes, she'll be wearing 5T (or 4T, depending on the cut) stuff for the summer. And some other stuff I'm not retyping. -- Joanna

Just so you know, not all stores carry 5T.  Sydney is wearing a combination of  the small sizes from the girls department and 5T.  Kohls is one that definately doesn't have 5T.

There is a new thrift store by us on HWY 13 right when you exit from 169 going south - it is called Grace I think.  I haven't checked it out yet.  There is also one in Burnsville called Unique - also haven't gotten over there.

Good luck!  Let me know if you find any awesome deals!

Thanks for the info; they actually looked somewhat similar in size at bowling. Sydney is slightly taller but Nora is, er, sturdier. What side of 13 is the new thrift store on? I've looked at Once Upon a Child in EP and Minnetonka but they are still mostly trying to clearance their winter stuff (wish it was easier to predict what size she'd be next season!). I am hoping to score some awesome deals at the upcoming Just Between Friends consignment sales -- but they don't start until the end of April. http://jbfsale.com I may take the day off on the 23rd and hit the Maple Grove one -- and then cook whatever delish dish I'm bringing to the district meeting.

I swear by the Unique Thrift Store in NewHope. Closer to me than to you, but I find it fairly clean, tidy, and I get great stuff there.....OR Lakeville is having city wide garage sales later in April....
