From what I have heard...there may be some celebration in store for everyone at Winter State because of some great membership numbers this quarter at the state level. I know EP did its part with so many new members! We should all be proud!

It was a lot of fun! Trish on a Stick was all over the place at the Friday night party...and there are pictures to prove it. There was a lot of excitement! We celebrated the completed extensions to Waconia and St Joesph. We also celebrated membership growth as a state (something that hasn't happened in about 3 years)!
There was also a delicious cheese ball (made by yours truly) and some fun parties. My favorite parts of conventions are the parties where you can really get to know people and celebrating all the awards and successes of the quarter.
The next convention is May 15-17 in Duluth, MN. There we celebrate the year end awards and elect and install the next state staff.

Convention was fun. I think I like them better when we are staying the entire weekend, when the site is out of town.
But it sure is fun to see how people from other chapters are starting to recognize me, etc. And I always get some new idea to jazz up WOT.
And banquet meals are so fun :-)

Well - I figured I'd chime in about convention too! I am not sure if I ever laugh as hard outside of WT Conventions as I do at them... Trish on a Stick was HILARIOUS on Friday night, Banquet was a riot, meeting with the MNWT & USWT Staff regarding Cyprus was AWESOME and SUPER EXCITING, getting into Exec Council for their meeting on Friday was fun (more like 'interesting') - except for 'helping' President Sarah & Membership VP Jen get into their Sumo Wrestling costumes - which ended up to be backwards - was HILARIOUS too! Man, there was so much that was funny!
And yes, Kerry, it is fun to go to conventions and start recognizing people - and they recognize you, too - and getting to know women from other chapters and getting their ideas, too. Super fun in that respect too!
Also - I agree with Kerry that it's more fun when we're out-of-town and staying overnight. One night is NOT enough out!!
And Stacy, thank you for drinking so much coffee at banquet - I should do that. Pretty soon I'll have to tone-down and keep my head clear. I'll work on that. :)
Thanks to EVERYONE for such a fun convention! Great friends are what makes it great fun! Love you all!!!
