toppings17 Topic :   Just here! I'm just re-visiting here to get myself into posting here again!  I find the Forum so much more... well, ummm... I guess so much LESS INTIMIDATING than my facebook page!  I'm feeling old as I write that!  Ha! You all know that Trish will be moving soon - and I'm feeling sad about that.  I'm not good with anticipation about upcoming things.  And the person who knows that the best is Trish.  Actually - she's probably one of the people in this world who know me best.  And that really is hard when she's moving halfway around the world.  So I'm getting myself reacquainted with the Forum - hoping that once she is in Cyprus, this will be the place we can have chats and discuss either EPWT stuff or other stuff.  Trish has been a HUGE part of EPWT.  She is enthusiastic, innovative, motivating, inspiring, hilarious, caring, passionate, educated, vocabulatary, and a wonderful friend and sister-in-law. I have decided that she IS the closest person I have to a real - REAL - sister.  I know that sounds stupid since you all probably already know that - but it's true and I finally see it.  We've fought like sisters, we've grown together like sisters.  And now she's moving.  And I'm very sad about it. So Trish - I will be HERE - in the Forum - waiting for you.  Of course, we can talk on the phone or thru email - but I'll be here often, too for you!  You're not alone over there!  I love you!!  And I'm glad you're living with me before you leave!  It'll be crazy - but I'm happy it's going to happen!  Just so you know!  :) Love you, Trish.  :) Sue Ellen 07/27/2008 20:55:48

Your fabulous prize awaits. :)  My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. guest Topic :   NATIONAL ICE CREAM MONTH HEY,  this is exciting...this is the first time I have created a new topic!! I am here to answer Joanne's question about ice cream concoctions in the monthly newsletter. I saw the great gift Kerry got last month and I want to be in the running. I am an ice cream freak...hot weather, cold weather, makes NO difference to me...but I am not sure I have the perfect mixture...the closest thing so far is the peanut butter/chocolate thing at Cold Stone... yeah, that might be THE perfect one... anyone else??? bw 07/03/2008 13:46:08

stacypears Topic :   What a weekend! So this weekend Brent was out of town - so my weekend was a little crazy.  On Saturday, Sydney and I went to Baby Loves Disco.  It was fun once it was a little less busy.  Sydney gets really clingy when there are a lot of adults around that she doesn't know. I held myself back from watching a bunch of movies and instead I did a ton of cleaning.  Our house has gotten very messy since I have been so tired and Brent is never home.  I actually got the entire house cleaned!  Then Saturday night around midnight - Sydney woke up with a tummy ache.  I told her to try to go back to sleep.  Shortly after laying down she started gagging - I sat her up and out came a bunch of puke.  Not fun!  So, I spent the next 1/2 hour cleaning her up, cleaning up her sheets, cleaning up myself, and then convincing her that she could get back into bed because it wasn't her bed that made her do that.  She was up several more times during the night.  The poor little girl was so scared by it.  Sunday she woke up feeling better - only to get sick again later in the day.  So today (Monday) - I stayed home with her and she seems a ton better.  She is tired and seems a little warm - but she is finally eating and keeping things down.  How was everyone else's weekend? 02/25/2008 16:52:01

I agree -  when Bonnie (State Pres) and Katie were talking about the pain of having "M Nights" - which I am guessing are "Membership Nights" - I can't understand what would be so annoying about them?   Were/are they just not well planned?  Isn't there food or drink involved?  SYLN events are so much fun!  I think I've been to all but one of them and I think they're my favorite part of being in EPWT!  Honestly!  It's a ton of fun to share what someone else considers fun and feels passionately about.  It's great! 02/20/2008 12:52:30

toppings17 Topic :   I'm a little nervous! I really am... now that it's setting in a little. I have registered for 2 1/3 sprint triathlons during this summer!!!  I'm doing two of them by myself and the 1/3 is because I'm doing the swim portion of one with my husband (biking) and his father (running)!  So now I'm all registered and very excited about them - but I've got some stuff to work thru I think.  My ankle is a new pain and I should probably discuss it with my dr, and my shoulder/rotater cuff is a problem and I need to figure out how to strengthen it.  Also, my tailbone hurts from sliding with the kids this winter.  I am starting to think I'm just crazy to think I can do this much with this body!  Seems that once I turned 35 my body decided I shouldn't do this stuff. 02/20/2008 12:49:23

bethwojahn Topic :   uppercase living party hmmm how do I get an emoticon down here??? anyway...thanks to the ladies that came to Fay and my party last night with Crystal as the great demonstrator...I think everyone really enjoyed the new product! Crystal did a wonderful job--i think i'm spelling her name wrong ? sorry Fay had to miss the party--her mom went into the hospital last week and things didn't look good on Sunday so Fay went down to Arkansas.
