Brothers United ! " Hello, I believe the knives are out for Catherine again at least in certain people's opinions she notseen asbeing suitable wife material for William ! Why on earth not I have to say ? The argument being that she has no training in the royal ways, well of course not but does that infer she is immune to learning them ? Any outsider has to do so naturally, Philip did for the Queen, Sarah and I did for our respective husbands. The difference being William is my boy so as well as inheriting Windsor traits, he also has inherited Spencer ones which is why he, well both my boys actually are a lot more down to earth and "Normal" generally, I made sure that I gave them a basic grounding in life outside of the royal walls so in other words both being a lot more street - wise than their father or Uncle ... meaning PrinceAndrew, the Duke of York of course !I have made no secret of the fact this is a relationship I sense tremendous potential in and therefore will do everything I can to encourage it being one both Catheriine and William pursue. A little less focus onnegative interference and instead practical encouragement and support would be a lot more helpful for the couple naturally. I realise that in keeping withtradition perhaps her background isn't viewed asone suitable ... such snobbery if I might say so is somewhat archaic and as I have made a point of saying her family unit is secure, her parents together and loving eachother so not a mIstress in sight ! I would have thought these facts in themselves would lend her to be seen from a much more positive angle as opposed to a judgemental one but there again I ought not perhaps to be so shocked by such attitudes being displayed, the reason indeed why "England' s Rose " has no alternative but initially anyway to bloom again in the U.S.A. where people are seemingly anyway a lot more broadminded !Let us for a moment consider William personally ! Everyone knows the closeness we shared, he in a different way to Harry who even as a youngster as I remember him of course, just approaching his 14th birthday when we lost eachother, was always a lot more robust than his elder brother, William the more emotionally sensitive and reserved !With Catherine by his side William healed, away from her everyone is aware he became a party animal as a means to cover hurt and disappointment, why he is invariably photographed under the influence of alcohol upon leaving the various venues of these nights out ! Catherine stabilises him and a party girl herself encourages him to enjoy himself living a life not bound by convention and dutiful obligation except when the occasion for this to be necessary presents itself and he and Harry well versed in traditional ways know exactly how to behave then and do so accordingly. I have said that I am hoping very much that circumstances present themselves in the future which lead to Wills not being King at all, that the Monarchy dies with "Her Majesty" being the last regal monarch ! I realise of course it is a role Charles has waited and continues to wait patiently for but with Camilla as his Queen ? For reasons given by me previously, were this to happen neither could expect the same global respect as "Her Majesty" receives. I am not suggesting immediate marriage between Catherine and William, not at all but a long engagmentwould seem to be something seriously worth considering. I have also made a point of saying it is only fair of William now to commit to Catherine if he is seriously wanting to pursue a relationship with her again as he and Harry rightly made a point of saying recently whilst being interviewed, they do come with bagggage and anyone involved with either of them in any capacity at all issoon madeaware of the fact. The fiasco that Catherine went through with the paparazzi I would hopewill be seen to be tempered and more mellow in the future as this isn't a comfotble position to find onself in at all and I know about thisof course ... so let the media show equal respect to Catherine and Wills as is shown by them to Chelsy and Harryplease!Ultimately the decison to engage in a serious, committed relationship isthe decision of the couple themselves and nobody else has the right to interfere and needless to say , least of all royal watchers, correspondentswho will therefore find themselves naturally bias towards anyone entering that arena who is not at least titled in their own personal right.I'd personally imagine though a commoner as Catherine is being all the more suitable for Williamwho I always encouraged and the same with Harry of course to embrace the "Free - Spirit " in themselves and not to bow down to convention and duty if this meant forsaking their own sense of personal happiness and inner emotionalcontentment. I have also said though that if William continues to hesitate in committing himself to Catherinethat he will find the lady vanishes and that would be a great pity so something I hope doesn't happen ! He has suffered enough already from the lack of a woman'slove and attention and now has the opportunity toembrace it again from someone who genuinely loves him for who he is and not what he represents as proven by the fact that initially separatedCatherine heartbroken none the less got on with life not letting the grass grow under her feetbut also not betraying him with "Kiss n' Tell" stories to the mediawhich says so much about her strength of character and loyaly and devotion to him ! Could he replace her? Perhaps but certainlyno guarantees and I think he knowsthis very wellhimselfand sowhy should he try if there is no need for himto do so !"H.M. The Queen ...
