I just bought a mold on eBay (#7144246925) that has four different cavities, and the cavities are 90 degrees bent from the handles.Anybody ever seen anything like this? Any guess who made it? I'm hoping that two of the cavities are actually for my .41 Colt. Won't know until I get it, of course.

"..........Wayne, if it doesn't have a name on it, it could very well be a privately made. Sounds odd the way the blocks open. Possibly for some type of machine casting operation? Heck who knows? Ya gotta pikchwer?

Pickchwer, in fact two of them, are on the dBay site.  I think you copy and paste the number above in their search window and it should take you there.

Sprew plate and cavities look good, depending of course on how good the pic is and the quality of my monitor, and, of course, my eyes and their various problems.  Of course, with four different cavities, it's almost gotta be some sort custom made oddity.

Anyway, I bought it and paid for it and will update all y'all on it when I get it.  I'm hoping the collected wisdom and experience of the board will recognize something about it.  That 90 degree bend ought to have been seen somewhere else, at least.

My bet is it was made in a blacksmith shop. The shape is like blacksmith tongs, and it would be well within the capabilities of a decent 'smith to make one. Could even be a Civil War or Indian War expedient, looking at the types of bullets. One made to be used in a small settlement, maybe?

It's definitely a blacksmith special.  The 90 degree in the picture was the bottom plate, not the mold.  It uses two plates, one top and one bottom, and the top one is missing.  The small probably 30 ro 32 cal. pistol cavity has been drilled out, the metal welded back in, and re-formed.  I'm guessing some blacksmith/machineist made this for his own use and modified it as his needs changed.
