Went bison hunting Friday/Sat,cow bison (cull) about 750 LB,used my SW 500 PC hunter w/575gr WFNGC at 1350 fpsfrom a mould I got from Dan at MM. The CB was BHN 26 water dropped/WW,entered neck behind head angled forward thru skull and out the opposite side horn,I was hoping to recover CB but no luck.A picture of bison is at,Seanwww.mountainmolds.com/SH_buff.jpg

Sorry about the delay in a reply.

This is my second bison, they taste very good .lean meat compared to beef,I have the tenderloins bacon rapped. The roasts are always good.

Fred Myers store here in Boise sells Buffalo about every 3 to 4 months.  I always try to get some as I really like the flavor.

That's probably as close as I'll get to a Buffalo "hunt", wandering around the aisles in Fred Myers.
