Posted this earlier under another topic. It belongs here with jerky. HOT SWEET DILLS 1 Gal. sliced dill pickles (hamburger chips) 1 pint (16 oz.) jalapeno slices 4 lb. sugar Drain the juice off the gallon of dill slices and discard. Put slices in a large stainless mixing bowl or stock pot. Add the jalapeno slices with their juice. Add the sugar. Stir occasionally until all sugar is dissolved. Pack in jars and keep refrigerated.
