I got distracted while heating FWFL for some hand lubing.  It boiled for a few minutes on the stove - yes it smoked badly, smelled terrible and I am in trouble.  After it cooled (outside) it has now changed color to a very dark grey.  Is it still usable?  It is a quadruple batch and I hate to throw it away based on the new color.

Dick, Felix can probably tell you which ingredient would have burned off the batch. I'd suggest trying it out, and see how it performs. I'm sure you won't have to toss it, it just may need a little amending.
