Doc,
Welcome aboard buddy, and thanks for the help. (You do any Battle Griffins up in Norway or the Teamwork/Bold Guard exercises?).

Doc,

I did a Battle Griffin back in Feb/March 91 up near Harstad (Asegarden base), and then went back in Dec 07 (visited with the NJHQ's CoE CWO - National Joint Headquarters Center of Excellence Cold Weather Operations - outside of Stavanger), and in Feb 08 (observed NATO Exercise EODEX 08 near Tromso, and then went down to visit Asegarden again, which had become the CoE CWO's Allied Training Center North; visited some other military installations on the trip as well). First trip (91) was a field exercise; the other trips were not. Enjoyed the 07 and 08 trips much more - shelter-halfs suck - hotels are MUCH more comfortable, and per diem for outstanding Norwegian cuisine is much better than arctic c-rats (heh).
