A little humor about what might have been. It did not happen thanks to all Cold War Veterans

Jerry this song by Weird Al one would expect given his humor(and funny), the comments after sadly show how most have little or no idea about the Cold War Era (Pres.Regan 1980s)next those whom belive its from WWII,or the events from 911, just a small portion have an idea it was from the 50s and 60s while most belive it stems from 911 or the 80s as the greatest threat ?
I really feel for the Korea and Vietnam Veterans not one word from the posts I had seen (36 pages) nor those serving in the time frame of the Cold War Era prior to Pres.Regan seems most was from his era to 911 ,as for ground zero and the testing saw only a few comments and no mention of veterans whom were involved in the testing around it :(
If this is the state of the education and how history is presented that era has so little impact as to almost not exist its as if the 50s to the 70s has been lost to the public ?
If anything this points out to our needing a plan to make the public more aware as well the fact that Korea and Vietnam are "Not Footnotes" in history ,hell the Spanish American War is better known, folks if we do not push this forward hard and get it to the forefront it shall become near forgotton parts of history truly sad !
