I remember the "Out Front" from Lt Ayers!  He was awesome.  As far as "Whatever It Takes" motto I just loved that one...often that is exactly what we would do.  Oh by the way..do you remember the whole fiasco of what happened to DD '91 (Display Determination) when the cyclone blew in and we were assisting all those that were effected and injured?  Our little detachment meant for 61 housing many hundreds of personnel?  Remember the whole thing about all the fuss about food that was supposedly lost by our unit?  LOL!  Whatever it takes! 

Oh, that is right.  Well I am amazed that your memory is so clear.  I sure do miss many of the guys there and really hope that they are all doing well.  I just am so bogged down in work I am amazed I have time to send these replies, etc.  Best I can do for now..Take care.

Merhaba Kiser and Eagan.... those names brought back some memories. I also served in the 21st USAFAD under Lt. Bacon and then Lt. Brown. Sean I still have pictures of us doing shots of vodka while listening to punk rock music (Sex Pistols Faith No More) and definitely remember a lot of good times prior to leaving Turkey and ETS'ing from Ft. Lewis (Idid run into Albritton and also Lt.Ayers who bought me a couple of beers at the Madhouse- NCO club at Madigan Army Medical Center) Anyway it was great finding this site and I would love to hear from you guys.

BZ!  Oh my gosh its Banaszynski!  This is Kiser!  It has been a while bro!  I am so glad to hear from you and feel free to write me at maxscifi@yahoo.com .   I am so damn glad to hear from any of my 21st'ers and especially guys like you BZ!  I recall many a time we had tied on a good one in Istanbul and our very own Ground Zero club.  I ran into Smitty in Amarillo, he was selling cars and seemed to be doing okay.  I am in touch with Warford.  He is a bonafide Captain in Kosovo and just works his ass off.  He has gone more than 432 days with no day off!  It is by his choice to a degree so he can keep things rolling smoother.  He is in the Intelligence.  I will let him know that I heard from you Scott.

Oh, I am in Euless, TX,  I am managing over 70 hrs a week a large satellite company.  Whew!  I also do martial arts and keep up with the latest Call of Duty and strategy games a few hours a week.  I have been with the same woman for over 5 years and she is Polish too!  Her last name is Sepanski,  Her first is Susan but I call her SuzQ.  She is so sweet and although she is half deaf and has some medical issues she is such a great life partner!  I am an aspiring author and although presently unpublished (I have 7 books and 2 screenplays) I do have a publishing agent and consultants.  Perhaps I will become a known author in the Sci-Fi/Suspense field. 

After 21st I went to 101st 2/320th.  I got two MOS's.  I worked as FIST and Artilleryman until I ETS's in 1992.  I ran a Martial Arts Academy outside of 101st in Clarksville, TN.  I then moved to TExas in 1994 an doperated schools in Waco and Amarillo.  I transitioned to the satellite business because I lost too much money running those operations.  I went National Guard for 2003-2004 but got out because the schools I wanted were pushed back and to be honest I got impatient.  I was aiming to go to some Hooah! schools but I got the runaround.  I missed Iraq by 2 months- after I got out my unit got deployed ( I felt bad because in a way I really wanted to be there for the guys in my unit but life goes on).  I suffer from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (excessive scarring and double-crushed nerves in my brachial plexis) brought on by a lot of Mixed Martial Arts, heavy rucksack carrying in Army,  and also being in moving business for 6 years!  It is irrepairable but I am a tough ol' cuss and just keep on moving along.

It looks like you have kept yourself pretty busy since leaving active duty. That's great and I'm glad that in spite of the difficulties you seem to be happy and doing well. Maybe this is year to be published.
After the 21st I went to Ft. Lewis 3/11 FA 9th ID. After the end of the Gulf War everything was winding down and it was parade after parade as we deactivated the 9th ID. After ETS I went to college and ended up as a chicago cop. I got married and we decided that the city was not the best place to raise a family. I now am a forest preserve ranger in Illinois am still married and have 2 kids Laurel 11 and Landon 4.
Work and family keep me pretty busy but in the free time i do have I am going back to school to finish my degree, I am active in Knight of Columbus, American Legion, and a 2LT in Civil Air Patrol which is kind of fun since we do cadets and emergency services.
Thats great about Smith and Warford and I have been reading some of Eagan's posts on the site. I agree that he is doing great work for an overlooked group of veterans.

So nice to hear back from you Scott and I am just so impressed with most of the guys I have come to know from the Army.  Oh yeah!  Warford is in contact with Stewart and Wilson too!  I am just so glad to know you are all okay and just am elated to hear that you have always been the go-getter that you were when I knew you back then.  I open a beer right now and salute you (clink to the PC monitor).  I bet that it was tough being a cop in Chicago!  Forest Preserve Ranger and 2Lt for Civil Air Patrol are some interesting duties for sure.  I am sure that you are a wonderful daddy and husband and I am sure Laurel and Landon are beautiful kids. 

Perhaps one day we can all get together (just all of us guys) and remember the good ol' days.
