Question. How do I change the front color here on the join screen? I know I go to control panel and then go to edit my skin. Which one changes the font color that I can see in the pic?

Since I have never applied to join my own forums, I am not sure which section determines the colour of the text for the application form.
You could look through your Skin settings and look for that colour in the examples.
If you don't see it in your Skin settings, it probably means that it's an Aimoo default.
Please let me know your findings.

For new Aimoo Users, I have a note on my front page asking them to register here first before applying to join my forum.

The gentleman has registered with Amioo but he can't see the join button.

Did he click on Join in the first place, when the application form appeared on your forum page?
Has he verified his email address?
Is he in your Pending List or don't new members need approval?

He has signed up on Amioo and can PM me only. Says he can't see the join tab on his screen to join. No he isn't in the pending list and yes our members nee approved.
Hopefully someone will see this post and tell me if there is a way to change the font color on the sign up page. If not I will need to change my skin.. Mabe techs may take a look at it.

Did you look for a matching colour in your Skin settings as I suggested? That would determine if it is a Skin setting or not.
I will alert Alice to this thread for you Greytail. Since I can't check the Skin in my forum, if I am not signed in as a member, it is difficult for me to suss which setting determines the font colour of the application form.

I can see the Join link in your forum.
We had a similar instance in the Help Forum last night and then I found the member on the Members List. Perhaps you could check your Members List.
Has the Member had his email address verified?

Well he showed up in the pending list. I approved him and he says now he can view the board. Although he isn't showing up in our members list.
Yes I changed the skin and can see all of it then. Need to be able to change font color so I can use the skin I'm using.

No. Funny thing Babs he said he never got the email but can view the board although I have it set that only SDH members can view the entire board. Is this possible?

It depends on your settings. Check the Permissions for Sub Categories as well as Categories and also the settings for Anonymous on the Preferences page.
Some addresses are being blocked, such as Comcast, AOL, MSN. Let Alice know via PM what his email address is. She may be able to verify it for him.

Once again thanks for your GREAT help Babs. We got him on now.
But still having issues with the font color. Looks like I'm going to have to change my skin. Sure do like the one I'm using but until I can get it worked out new members can't read it the way it is. If you get a chance would you ask the tech guys if they would consider taking a look at the font color on the sign up and join page?
