My forum is being attacked by some kiddy porn guy and I need him removed from my forum and the site.
I am contacting the FBI and this needs to go, if you do not want trouble here.

I have had the same thing and have reported it to Missing and Exploited Children, The FBI and am going to get my local law enforcement agency on it too. There are many users in my group and thank good I had no members in the group yet to see this filthy mess.

I am sorry to hear you have had unwanted material posted on your forum, will report the id for deletion.
Have you got the permissions set on your forum for members only posting?
You need to set the permissions for each category if you only want members to post.
I also suggest you ban their IP, take a copy before you delete which you can add to your ip ban list via the offending post or via the control panel, you can also PM the ip to either myself, Babs_Oz or the aimoo admin.
If you need any help there are many tutorials here and we are also here to guide you.

i had started a cute little group for homemakers and the porn people got in so much.they are afraid to come in.i had to delete that group cause they were afraid there computers would be infected.

Seriously fanny, these people have no magical powers. The only way any of them can get in is if you don't have your forum permissions set properly.

i surely have Babs-the thing is i cannt get over how they keep hanging about trying to get in.so crazy.i just wanted to let u know...our group does a check to see whose on all the time.the ladies have reported to me names and i catch them too.

If they can see any Categories they might try a couple to see if they can get in and post. If they can't, they obviously they give up and go. They appear in Who's On for about 15 minutes after they have gone. It gives us a chance to get their IP address anyway.

I have kiddie porn on my site also, this is the second time. Last time it took me 1 1/2 hours to delete it all, because when I deleted it, it went into my admin trash and then I had to delete it from there.
I have my settings set to MBA but evidently that doesn't work.
I ran their IP#s last time and it came up from the netherlands and san francisco.
Will Aimoo remove the porn posts or do I have to spend hours doing it?

Sammi-Jo, Please show me a screenshot of your Permissions, the page with all the squares, and also the setting at the bottom of the Preferences page. We can work it out from there.

I have had it Purrr and am moving on! It is scary and the pictures posted would have made you sick in less than a second. Just think this could be your son, daughter, grandbabies, nieces or nephews that have went missing and have been put into porn and prostitution.

As I looked at it, I think I just didn't go far enough in the security and I need to change all the yes settings to no.
If I do that, will the people who are currently members, still be able to get in without applying?
I edited out all the porn but didn't delete the post in case you needed the IP #.

Sammi-Jo, I can see your green squares above now, even though it is not a screenshot. They weren't showing before.
Your forum is wide open to spammers. Please fix the Permissions as per Mesage #5 here. If members keep reporting your forum, you are at risk of losing it.

Thanks Sammie-Jo, The posters are showing as ex-Member now which means their ID's have already been deleted.
Good thinking though. If their ID was showing you can get their IP address yourself but if you lock your forum so that Anonymous and Non-Members cannot post, it won't happen again.

Just cuious: I searched forums and came across several that seemed abandoned and the whole board was taken over by CP spam - I reported the boards ofcourse. But I was wondering how this is possible?? Don't aimoo have a site-wide masteradmin search to get all these posts listed and removed? If not, why don't you add that?
