Ok hear we go again how many times do we have to conplain about things going wrong in aimoo
The stuff never gets fixed for more than a few hours if that
why are we paying for Diamond group
its like just thowing our hard erned money away

If were lucky we may get 2 or 3 posts in
the poof gone

Why is this problum just keep going on and on and on



2 hours to get in to a mates group to day its so stupide
and i carnt get in my own group YET AGAIN

I know exactly how Froggy feels. Took me an hour to get into my group and another half hour for the next member to get there. The problems need to get fixed.

My group was averaging 4000 plus posts a week

Now, we get half of that

I know I know that other groups are setting up back up groups, or are intending to move from aimoo

My plan ios to set up a backup and move when our credit is expended

My feeling is that you at aimoo are involved in a betrayal of trust

Believe me, I would not be posting this if I were not utterly furious at aimoos continuing culpable failure

Aimoo you have failed us once too often. All that is left is to make provision to move elsewhere

I agree with all the posters above me.....it is getting truly out of hand. You must do something before all your groups leave for another host. Why is there not someone in charge on the weekends....seems all admin disappears and we are left hanging.

Something needs to be done....soon.

When an Aimoo Mod sets up a backup forum elsewhere things have gotta be bad but that is exactly what I have done and things are that bad IMO.

Server 1 downtimes over the last 24 hours or so

Myself and members are sick of trying to post in Aimoo, often the page itself wont load or you go to the trouble of typing something and it wont post, it's getting worse. When will we get a response from someone in admin?

 I have already opened another group on Yuku, I'm so fed with not being able to post, my diamond rans out in August, I won't be renewing. It a shame really because I really like Aimoo but the problems of late is getting so bad. I sometimes wonder if Admin does anything to help the situation. Life is to short to keep hanging around waiting for you forum to open so you can use it.

While this it frustrating for some of us .I know it has to be even more frustrating for the Admim and for the mods.I feel so sorry for you all having to take all the verbal abuise on here .I love Aimoo and i'm staying here.My members feel the same way   I know the Admin is doing all he can to try and rectify these issues .Every site has problems .. remember MSN..I certainly do ... This in no way compares to what we went thru there. I do understand we pay for Diamond Status,  but that doesn't mean that we are gonna get perfection ..There are flaws and issues no matter where we go ..
I just wanted to let Admin know that   not all of us are leaving :o)

I'm with you 100% Glorene, I agree with everything you just posted word for word and so diddo the part of every site has hiccups and am not leaving aimoo ever.


I l♥ve it here so much and I have posted that time and time again and stand by my word.


Glorene, for what you just posted, I couldn't of have said it any better and our mods are AWESOME as to our Admin as well.

I don't know if this will help as I have said that there probably is a virus on aimoo. I have tried for three days to get on aimoo and the whole thing freezes up to the point I have to reboot my puter over and over. I have done all of the cleaning and run virus scan which last year I had as many as six viruses blocked on aimoo in one day by my anit virus. I have usually had to go through Google to get to aimoo as I believe that the ads above the headers are google related. Today I tried all day to go through google search and it just sat and done nothing. I switched and went through yahoo search and got to the aimoo homepage and to here but none of the other groups that me and Purrr own together or my health group will open up at all. I would expect bleeps and burps on the regular forums but on the Diamond groups. We were considering going Diamond but forgot about it when this mess started.

I will admit I have to let steam off, I have stuck with aimoo since 2003 and most likely will continue to do so, In Nov 2007 we lost everything and my forum (a vehicle owners forum) had this pink fluffy skin or ages and no threads, it took months to get it all back again but we did get most of it, some images were lost but at least we were still online.

This is different, there are so many downtimes now,

I like aimoo myself and want to stay but if my co owner of our groups wants to move then I will follow suit. Aimoo seems to be the simpilest and when it is running the best place to be.

Karrier, I wish you had the stats for Server 4 as it was down for at least 30 hours that I know of and has been down many times since, for up to an hour at a time. I know this because I have a couple of Forums on Server 4, one which I was planning to open today (Monday in Oz) and have been trying to get it set up.

Hope nobody takes this the wrong way but, speaking from experience. I just wanna help!


Years ago I HAD an antiviro in a crappy puter that didn't read nothing right and I ran a chat room at the time and at that time I thought they were sending me viros and I was not a happy camper til it stopped and I forgot all about it then I joined a forum site called yuku. 


Same puter and same anti viro, again I thought my chat site and yuku NOW lol were sending me viro's and I was like wth???


Bf gets up, goes to work, he's way up north working with the miners and polar bears and all so commuting was limited and short only by puter. hahahaha


As I sat there chatting with em on messenger and posting in yuku I literally watched my puter literally FRY right in front of me, but just five minutes to that my anti viro kept goin nuts so I shut down yuku til all I had was messenger and still it's going nuts, I did a scan, nothing. lolBut, still it fried!!

What I'm trying to say is if the anti virus cannot read something properly it will then see it as a virus, it's been known and proven by tons of puter geeks that anti viro's will do that. 


Now, I have an awesome system with an awesome anti viro to which was not cheap to buy and gives full time access 1-800 to there office that if I have any probs. I can call or I can send them an email and they go through everything detail with you and fix from there main head office. Gotta love BitDefender, it may be expensive but, I have never ever had no probs with them since I've had them for two years.

Sincerely sorry for all the inconveniences. We are working hard on the server and ads issues in recent days. Sorry for the late repy. The server will be upgraded and the ads issue will be fixed soon. But there will be a necessary process to fix the two issue. And there are many aspects need to be upgraded. So please wait with patience. We will make aimoo better than it was. Admin

I know that you are working hard here, Admin, but today I lost one of my mods, and a good fellow I could ill afford to lose

We have been warning of problems for some months

I don't want to move, but I am watching my group decline, and who can blame people for going to other providers, when it is often so difficult to get in here.

On top of that, it is now getting predictable that weekends will be even more difficult

We need someone here at this time with the access to keep the show running

Does this mean all the down times we have been having will stop now?

I truly hope so, you may think our issues trivial but for some people their pc and forums like this are the only way they have contact with the outside world. Genuine friendships are made on here. 

But guess what, after hanging for 5 minutes I got a jrun error!!

By the way it is now 20 minutes from my first attempt!!

It took me  nearly a half hour of trying to finally get in here today.  Have yet to get into other groups.  I did get into my grief group but that is it!  Members are not even trying to come to aimoo anymore they are emailing me requests.  This is really sad!  Teddie

When will the weekend outages stop?  Last Friday at about this same time, the servers had problems.  And we could not access forums on those servers for nearly a day (in our forum's case, at least).  Once again, today our forum cannot be reached.  Having watched the help forums here but never posted, I know there are a lot of upset forum owners and users.  What is the problem, Aimoo?  More importantly, will you get it fixed in time to NOT lose all your customers, paying or otherwise?

Sorry for the inconveniences to yall guys. We have taken actions on the server issue, we need to make a plan after some necessary tests. So it will take some time, but after that the server issue will be fixed. Hope you can understand us in this case. Admin

why can't our questions get answered by admin maybe he can't even get in. I wonder why. Why does they get all our money and nothing get done to fix it. What do we pay for, we pay and we still have issues. I feel that if we pay we should be on a better server, than if we didn't pay. I also feel that if admin can't get something done about this aimoo should find another person to run aimoo. I am thinking of finding somewhere else to go, but really there isn't anywhere to go, I've been here since msn went down and I love it here when it works, my life dont revolve around aimoo, but when you pay for somethin you expect it to work regardless, I know internet is not perfect but where's admin why isn't he answering these posts, and why isn't any explanation of what is wrong and why. I feel we are owed that much for all the money we spend on this place and NOTHING changes! I am seriously thinking of not renewing my diamond when it's up. Good Day, to all, and I do pray this gets fixed. Or maybe they at aimoo are hoping we will leave so they dont hear us complain. hmmm makes one wonder.
Oh yes I also had trouble getting into my group as well, like 20 minutes worth of wait. What is the hold up on that, why does it do that?
