Adding Google analytics to your forum footer html is a great way to see who is visiting, what pages they are looking at, how many page views are being gobbled up, where your visitors are from, how long they are on and more.
All the Text in Bold Purple is what I have written for this tutorial.

Fill in the details asked for, pop in the verification code on the page into the box and click the i accept create my account at the bottom of the page (not shown)
Once you have applied for an account you need to verify your account, you will get an email that looks like this
You need to click the top blue link to verify your account
Log in with your email address and password
You will then be taken to a page that looks like this
Click the Analytics link (highlighted) which will take you to a page that looks like this
Click the Sign Up Button (Highlighted)
You then need to add your forum URL and other info (see below) I have used a fake url for this tutorial.
Click Continue...
The next page will ask for information as below, fill in the details and click continue (see below)
Then you need to tick yes I agree checkbox (highlighted) and then the create account button (highlighted)
You will now be given a page which contains the code you need to copy and click the finish button (highlighted) You need to then put the copied code (see below) into the footer html via your Aimoo Forums control panel.
Once you have done this, you need to go back to your google analytics account and log in (if you have logged out).
You will then see a page which looks a bit like this, the highlighted warning icon (in the 'status' area) is there untill google has updated (usually around 24 hours) See below, this is your analytics dashboard.
After 24 hours (sometimes less) when you log back in you will see on your dashboard (in google analytics) that the warning icon has gone and there should be a green tick, now google analytics is working. I have had to use my real dashboard for the image below as the above images were done with a fake url just for this tutorial and i have removed some of the data (as it is mine and private)
If you click the 'report' link it will give you a page that looks like the one below, where there is a drop down action menu, you can then access pageviews, visits etc
Now you have access to all that google analytics has to offer, have a play, click the links, see your stats for your forum on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Good luck, if you have any problems please PM me or reply to this tutorial and i will help in anyway I can.
I hope I have covered everything..........
