  Thanks Babs. Yes I moved all threads in several categories to a new category, and then deleted the empty categories.
  
  I know they were empty because I double checked.
  
  Assumed the threads I had moved would be ok.

  No Babs, they are not in the recycle bin.
  I moved the threads to a new category, and once the categories had zero posts in them, I deleted the empty categories..and then realized that the threads 'also' deleted in the category that they had been moved to.

  I was hoping for some help.
  
  My forum is http://forum4.aimoo.com/flabs and last night I created an archive thread and had moved threads to this new category.
  
  After I had moved threads to the new category called Archives which I created. I then deleted the threads and the categories that those threads had been in.
  
  Unfortunately the threads I had moved to the archive category, also disappeared.
  
  Is there any way to get the threads back onto my forum?
  
  I hope that I am being clear. I had wanted to archive a lot of threads to a new category, and after moving them to that category, I then deleted the empty categories, but it seems that the threads I had first moved, also deleted.
  
  Please let me know if I am able to retrieve those threads that disappeared.

• forum and chat errors

  We continually have errors accessing our forum and/or chat room.
  
  The url used to be http://forum.aimoo.com/flabs and now I have noticed it is different.
  
  http://forum4.aimoo.com/flabs
  
  The change in the url suggests to me that my forum has been placed permanently on the worst server, which apparently is server 4 with aimoo.
  
  At times we have had diamond status but we currently do not.
  
  Is that why aimoo has placed my forum on server 4? I would like to know because the url refelcts that is the case.
  
  Also I have emails from aimoo telling me that my forum is to be removed from inactivity.
  
  This is very unfair because my members regularly access our forum for documents and daily use the chat room *when we can access it on server4.
  
  I would appreciate an email from aimoo admin. to explain what is happening on my forum.

  ALL forums should be given diamond status for the inconveniences we have had for some time.
  
  I am not inclined to purchase anymore 'diamond' status, until this website has shown itself to be reliable and accountable for the lack of service.
  
  As someone up thread mentioned, we indeed have put a lot of work into our forums and WE have to answer to OUR members.
  
  In my forum we are a group of court watchers who have missed out on discussing preliminary hearings that lead up to trial which is just 30 days away. I have NO idea if my forum will even be available for the dates we have been using it for over 2 years.
  
  Pay for diamond? NOT going to happen for some time.
  
  If it is offered to my forum because of these DOWN times, I may re-consider diamond status purchases. Until then, I may have to look else where because I need reliability and accountability.
  
  Period.

  Frankly, I can't believe the forum is down again.
  
  When we had errors in the past weeks several times we were assured that it wouldn't happen again.
  
  Should our group look somewhere else? Are we not welcome here at aimoo?

  When I click on the account log it verifys the donation amount.
  
  We just can't figure out how to apply the funds in the chest to our forum.
  
  I looked at the tutorial and all those steps were taken.

  We have made a donation to our forum and we still see ads.
  
  Could someone please check it for us and see that the diamond status is activated?
