Creating a Signature in Your Profile

A signature is something that members can add to their Profile and it will appear
at the end of every message they post unless they un-check the box.
This appears below the message you are preparing to post.

However, Owners can disable this feature completely.
If they do, regardless of whether you leave the box checked,
your signature will not appear in your messages in that particular forum.

To create a Signature, you need to edit your Profile.
I usually click on my Avatar then click on Edit but there are other ways to get there.

The Signature Box (below your time zone and Voice Notification)
has limited HTML functionality, so you need to use UBB Code.
There is a list
 here.
If you are inserting an image, add the http address of your image between IMG codes.
It could be a Photobucket link or Aimoo (Photo Album or Forum Disk Storage) or other source:

However, Photobucket makes it easy.
Simply copy the IMG code as indicated below and then paste it in your Signature Box.
(Control v or right click then left click on Paste).

That's it!
Click the Submit button at the end of the page.

If you want your Signature centered, you would need to add the CENTER CODES
first and last.
You can copy and paste my text to yours.
Note they are slightly different, one to start and one to end
so you will need to copy and paste one at a time.
I have made it bold so you know what to copy.

Look at the UBB List in the link above for any other codes you require.

If you are inserting text and not an image, then you would add your text as under.

and it would look like this:

Your Text Here

Owners/Admins, see the next message on how to turn off Signatures.
