Creating Bulk Thumbnails

To take advantage of Photobucket's Bulk Uploader, make it easier on yourself by saving all the images in one folder on your computer, then you can "Select All" without the need to click individually on each required image.

Upload the images to Photobucket in an album of their own as this saves the need to click each individual one that you want, when you come to make the thumbails.

If you have more than one page full, click on "View All" at the bottom of the page.

Click on Select All.

They will all then be ticked/checked, and the other buttons will no longer be greyed out.

At the bottom of the page you will see four blue bars (shown above). Click on the last one on the right "Generate HTML and IMG Code".

Then click once inside the first box and the Codes will be selected/highlighted. Do Control C tocopy the HTML text, or right click and Copy.

Go to your your message and click on < HTML > on the top right of the message toolbar.

If you haven't added anything into your message, you should see an empty page.

Right click then left click on Paste (or Control v) to paste the text you just copied.
It will look like gibberish, but fear not.

Click on Back >> on the top left.

This will take you back to your message box and you will see the thumbnails of your
images, as below. I have deleted most of mine from the example as were a lot more,
so it's a very handy feature.

They may look like they are wrapped around (on separate rows/lines) as above, but once you have hit Send, they will most likely stretch the screen nine miles wide (so to speak) as they will be adjacent to each other. So just hit Enter after every three or four (depending on the size of the thumbnails) to make sure they wrap around.

You can also add a couple of spaces in between each as they are usually so close together. It makes your message look less dense if they have a bit of white space in between.

Remind your members to click on the thumbnail to open/enlarge it and then right click and Save, otherwise they will be saving the thumbnail version.

Unless you are going to delete the message when all images/tags have all been collected, do not delete them from Photobucket, otherwise your post will look a mess. If you delete them from Photobucket, they are deleted from your message.

If a member copies their tag/image after they have opened the thumbnail and pastes it elsewhere, it will also be removed from wherever they posted it, if you delete your original from Photobucket. You may need to advise them if you plan to delete them from Photobucket, so that they do not copy it and paste elsewhere.

Members need to save them to their computer. In a Diamond Forum,
they can upload them into a message from their computer.
